Ons Jabeur came from a set down to dispose of third seed Elena Rybakina after one hour and 53 minutes in a pulsating, often error-strewn but nevertheless captivating match that sees the Tunisian face Aryna Sabalenka in the semi-final.

British duo Naiktha Bains and Maia Lumsden were dumped out of Wimbledon, at the quarter-final stage, by Australian Storm Hunter and Elise Mertens from Belgium in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1.

Djokovic, the seven-time champion at the All England Club, saw off Andrey Rublev, in four sets, 4-6/6-1/6-4/6-3 on Centre Court.
