Charlton winger has two League One clubs interested in deal before transfer window closes
Milton Keynes and Lincoln City are both interested in Charlton Athletic winger Diallang Jaiyesimi.
The 24-year-old scored the Addicks winner on Tuesday night as they defeated Walsall in the EFL Cup second round.
Jaiyesimi has not started in the league since the opening day of the season and Charlton boss Ben Garner needs outgoings from his squad if he wants to make more than one incoming signing before next Thursday’s deadline.
As it stands the priority is for the League One outfit to bring in another centre-back with Eoghan O’Connell, Ryan Inniss and Sam Lavelle their senior options and the latter two have both experienced injury issues during their time in SE7.
Jaiyesimi played at right wing-back for the Addicks last season when then boss Johnnie Jackson shifted to a back five but Garner has reverted to a four-man defence with Sean Clare the first pick down that side.
And Jaiyesimi has seen his starting prospects dented by the loan arrival of Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Crystal Palace.
Two of his three starts in the current campaign have come in the EFL Cup and he played 81 minutes in the midweek victory over the Saddlers.
The Addicks are also keen to move on Alex Gilbey, Craig MacGillivray and Jake Forster-Caskey.
Lincoln City are keen on Gilbey but it is understood the midfielder wants to stay closer to home.
Goalkeeper MacGillivray has not played a single minute this season with Joe Wollacott the number one. The 29-year-old is out of contract next summer.
