Croydon 19-year-old charged with possession of an offensive weapon

A 19-year-old man has been charged with the possession of an offensive weapon in Croydon.

Nickalas Mighten, of Grange Park Road, Thornton Heath, was charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place on Tuesday.

The charge follows an arrest made by Violence Suppression Unit officers while they were patrolling in Croydon that night.

Mighten was due to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court today.
