Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira provides injury update on Wilfried Zaha and Joel Ward ahead of Brentford trip
Crystal Palace will be without Wilfried Zaha and Joel Ward for tomorrow’s Premier League trip to Brentford.
The Ivorian winger has missed the last two outings due to a hamstring injury he picked up in the 0-0 draw with Newcastle United.
Zaha, 30, is Palace’s top goalscorer and appearance holder in the club’s Premier League history.
“Wilfried is still a couple of weeks [away] before he can start training with the team,” said Vieira.
Joel Ward missed the 2-1 defeat at Manchester United and the 1-1 draw with Brighton with a calf injury.

James McArthur returned to the matchday squad for the first time this season against the Seagulls.
“Wardy will start training with the team next Monday,” added Vieira.
“Macca is still progressing well. He had another really good week with the team. He will be a part of the travelling team.”
Brentford are 8th in the Premier League table and unbeaten in their last five outings.
“It’s always difficult to play against Brentford. When you’re looking at the individual quality and how they organise as a team, it’s always challenging to play against them.
“When we faced them, we competed against them, and this time it’s not going to be any different.
“They’re in form, but we played recently against teams who have been on really good runs and we competed really well against those teams.
“It’s about ourselves and how we can be well disciplined. We will play the way I strongly believe we can.”
