Why I created Said in Print

In 2018, I was walking past someone and read a quirky phrase on their T-shirt…it was something like ‘my dog ate my T-shirt’, and I was thinking, clearly not because you are wearing it! But I just thought how random!

I couldn’t get the phrase out of my mind for a while and I found myself talking about it to friends and family, because of how quirky it was. Then a lightbulb struck!

I’m here talking to friends and family about a quirky phrase, why not switch it up and instead of talking so much about it, why not create t-shirts that, yes, people would talk about but in an admiring way, or feel encouraged by or even share what they saw, and that’s where my faith kicked in.

Said in Print

I thought how cool would it be for people to have meaningful words and phrases on clothes relating to their Christian beliefs.

It would not only serve as upliftment for the reader but also for the wearer and double up as a form of indirect evangelism.

There are so many ways to evangelise the Word of God and clothing can definitely fall into that category.

Print on clothing can easily bring people to Christ through a mere conversation, which is the ultimate goal and mandate of Christ: Mark 16:15 he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. So that was my charge to make happen with my brand: T-shirts that’s were conversation starters.

Said in Print

I am so passionate about my brand because, everyone wears T-shirts, no matter how young or old, so there is a place and opportunity for everyone to share God’s Word ‘Said in Print’! (get it!).

My brand does not just stop at T-shirts, we print scriptures on tracksuits, hoodies, towels, mugs and much more.
