Bromley writer publishes fifth instalment of crime series set in gritty streets of South London

A writer and actress from Bromley is set to publish the fifth instalment of her crime series set in the gritty backstreets of South London.

The Burning Question is the latest chapter in the DCI Banham series by Linda Regan.

The novel follows DCI Paul Banham and DI Alison Grainger who are investigating the death of a young woman, burnt in her home.

When another identical arson attack is reported, Grainger and Banham are on the hunt for a link, unaware that the new trainee DC Hannah Kemp, already knows the connection.

Born in Brixton, Ms Regan who has appeared in BBC sitcom Hi-De-Hi, The Bill, and Holby City brings her personal experiences to her writing.

All eight of her novels are set against the meticulously detailed backdrop of South London.

She has also written the DI Johnson series.
