The first Kindred Uncovered live music night, headlined by Kristie Killick, will take place May 23.

Throughout the year each artist will receive mentoring from industry  Professionals including  Ife Awosika, head of music at entertainment provider Dice, VeVo artist relations manager Jodeci Chin, Notion Magazine’s managing director Nicholas Douglas, and 16 more experts in their field.

Each Uncovered Residency artist will receive unlimited access to Kindred’s coworking space, 20 per cent off food and free access to Kindred’s cultural events programme.

The artists will also receive the chance to network at events and receive feedback on their live performances which will culminate in an end-of-year residency showcase live on Kindred’s stage.

Kindred founder, Anna Anderson, said: “Our new residency crystallises our long-held hope that Kindred would be the home of rising talent; helping artists find mentors and one another.

“We’re all about platforming the talented, passionate and joy-bringing, so we can’t wait to meet our new residents and be part of their journey.”
