Take Brat Summer to the skies at Peckham’s Rooftop cinema
Take Brat Summer to the skies this August with a specially curated selection of movies from London’s original outdoor cinema in the sky, Rooftop Film Club, at Peckham’s Bussey Building.
Brat summer has taken top spot on 2024’s culture trends following the release of Charli XCX’s Brat album in June.
Even Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has promoted his ULEZ policy with the feral green markings of brat summer – minus the manic party energy.
This August, Peckham’s Bussey Building is jumping on the trend with a specially curated selection of “brat summer” movies.
Catch a frightening horror, cult classic or a family favourite whilst lounging in the comfortable cushioned cinema deck chairs, taking in the spectacular city scenery with a Brat Summer cocktail which is of course, lime green.
Classic flicks in the line-up include American Pie (August 15), Halloween (August 16), The Exorcist ( August 30) , Cruel Intentions (August 30), Jawbreaker (August 29), Ratatouille (August 31).
The venue’s Rooftop Bar will be offering cocktails, mocktails, beer and wine as well as Share A Slice pizza for everyone to enjoy.
With waterproof blankets and tickets able to be transferred to another date at no extra charge, guests will be able to enjoy the experience no matter if the Great British summer gives us rain or shine.
