Why not volunteer and help Scout movement?

A year ago, we opened our very first Squirrels Scout Drey.

We prioritised areas hardest hit by the pandemic, offering hope, skills and friendship to so many families.

With a mix of outdoor play, storytelling and team games, we knew we could make a massive difference to young lives when it mattered most.

Squirrels is now one year old.

Here in South London it’s going from strength to strength, helping young people learn skills for life. But it’s not just young people we’re helping.

We’re supporting communities too. The positive impact is just amazing to see.

Parents and carers who volunteer are also having fun, expanding their local network and gaining leadership skills.

Meanwhile their children are growing in confidence and making new friends.

Volunteers are realising it’s as good for them, as it is for others. So why not think about volunteering for Squirrels.

If you can give a little time, we’ll provide the tea and cake.

Happy birthday, Squirrels and thank you to our volunteers too. You’re an inspiration.
