V&A’s Friday Late: Eyes
Friday Late at the V&A celebrates all aspects of contemporary visual culture using the V&A collection and building as its inspiration.
For the first time, Friday Late will be programmed across three seasons spanning the year and will explore subjects of The Body, Endeavour and Illusions, with live performances, film screenings, installations, debates, DJ sets and workshops. From now until April it’s The Body, questioning how our bodies can shape contemporary notions of identity.

Cirque du Soleil Luzia
Luzia takes you to an imaginary Mexico, where light helps the spirit, and rain soothes the soul.
The show is like a waking dream, taking audiences from an old movie set to an undersea world, and from a cenote to a city alleyway, passing smoothly from an urban setting to the natural world, from the past to the present via fascinating Mexican mythology and traditions. Breathtaking acrobatic performances feature and water has been integrated into this year’s performances.

Women of the World Festival
WOW – Women of the World Festival runs from March 6 to 8 across the International Women’s Day weekend at Southbank Centre.
The line-up includes some of the world’s most exciting performers, activists and voices. The event will feature talks from amazing women including Naomi Wolf, Shazia Mirza, Scarlett Curtis, Sandi Toksvig, Mary Robinson, Elif Shafak, Julia Gillard, Caroline Criado Perez, Emma Dabiri, Shazia Mirza, Bobby Baker and live recordings of two of the UK’s most popular podcasts – Scarlett Curtis: Feminists Don’t Wear Pink and The Guilty Feminist.
