The Philharmonia Orchestra to perform free family concert
The Philharmonia Orchestra is set to perform a free family concert on April 24 – which will include kids favourite Let It Go.
The Orchestra, based at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall, will also perform a dramatic overture by leading 19th century French composer Louise Farrenc and a cheery scherzo by Dame Ethel Smyth, a prominent campaigner for women’s suffrage.
The pre-recorded concert is conducted by Stephanie Childress, presented by Lucy Drever and will also have a British Sign Language Interpreter.
It is suitable for children aged seven to 11 and will be available on the orchestra’s YouTube channel from April 24.
