Man is arrested over the death of Dean Edwards in Penge park

Detectives investigating the murder of Dean Edwards in Penge have charged a man.

Taylor Purdy, 25, of South-east London has been charged with murder.

He was due appear via videolink on Tuesday, August 18 at a London magistrates’ court, yet to be decided.

Dean Edwards, 43, was found with fatal gunshot wounds in Betts Park on Sunday, July 12.
