60-year-old fighting for his life after hit-and-run in Lewisham

A 60-year-old man has spent over two weeks in hospital after being hit by an SUV which did not stop.

Police said his condition is life-threatening.

On Monday, November 1, at around 9pm a black SUV hit the pedestrian on Vesta Road, near Telegraph Hill.

The victim was taken to a hospital in South London.

Police are asking the public to come forward with any information.

They are particularly keen to hear from witnesses who have dash cam footage, or residents with CCTV cameras that may have captured images of the vehicle.
