BREAKING: Woman and two children found dead in house
Three people – a woman and two boys – have been found dead in a home.
The Met confirmed a 47-year-old woman and two boys, aged nine and seven, were found dead inside the property in Mayfield Road, Belvedere.
Police were called at 11.50am yesterday after reports of concerns for the welfare of people at the address.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended, and found the woman and two children.
Next of kin have been notified and post mortems will be arranged in due course.
The Met said in a statement: “The Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation.
“At this early stage, detectives are not actively seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation.
“A crime scene remains in place.”
