Businessman backs Streatham family centre

A successful businessman whose parents met in Streatham has thrown his weight behind a family centre.

The Streatham Youth and Community Trust (STCT) has asked Todd Harrison, who runs a fridge and air conditioning firm, to become its patron, alongside existing Patron and long-time supporter Daphne Marchant.

Todd’s parents met in Streatham, so he has an affection for the area and, as a parent of three children, says he understands the pressures young people face in today’s world and the need for places like the centre, where children can play, learn and lead.

Todd said: “It is an exciting time to be involved with SYCT, as they have some great initiatives in the pipeline, which will really make a difference to the local community at a time when it is greatly needed.

“It is great to be involved in a charity that can really have an impact and I am extremely proud to be part of it.

“SYCT are committed to delivering high quality youth and play work which makes a lasting, positive impact on the lives of children and young people.”
