Café Rouge promises to give away free tea and coffee throughout January

The French restaurant chain Café Rouge has promised to give away free tea and coffees throughout January to help with the cost-of-living crisis.

The deal offers guests a “no strings attached” cup of tea or an Americano on the house, across Café Rouge sites all month long from Monday to Friday.

The participating London-based Café Rouge restaurants include the 02 Arena in Greenwich, St Katharine Docks, Covent Garden, St Paul’s, Greenwich Village and Victoria railway station.

Tom Patrick, head of marketing at Café Rouge, said: “We know that January tends to be a difficult month, both emotionally and financially, for people following the holidays, even more so this year with the cost-of-living crisis impacting people across the country.

“We wanted to introduce this offer to welcome guests who are feeling blue to visit one of our warm and friendly venues to relax and enjoy themselves.

“Our teams are really excited about this initiative and cannot wait to greet both new and familiar faces visiting our sites with a warm welcome.”
