Teenager charged in Camberwell stabbing of Clinton Evboba

A teenager has been charged with the murder of Clinton Evbota who was stabbed to death in Camberwell in October.

The 16-year-old boy from Camberwell was arrested on Tuesday morning, December 3, on suspicion of murder and will appear at Bromley Youth Court on December 5.

Police were called at 8:21pm on October 10 to a stabbing on the Brandon Estate on Grimsel Path.

Officers attended and found 18-year-old Clinton suffering stab injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:14pm.

A post-mortem gave the cause of death as multiple stab wounds.

Seven other males – aged between 14 and 18 years old – have been arrested as part of the investigation into Clinton’s murder.

A 14-year-old boy [B] has since been released with no further action. The other six have been bailed pending further enquiries.
