Cops release E-fit of wanted man who robbed couples at knifepoint in Lewisham park

Cops have released an E-fit as part of a search for the man who robbed couples at knifepoint in a Lewisham park.

The man wanted after a spate of knifepoint robberies in Brookmill Park, that left one victim hospitalised.

Three robberies were recorded all between 7.45pm and 10pm on Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 August, and Thursday, September 2.

In the incident on August 31, a man in his 20s suffered a number of stab injuries.

He was rushed to hospital where his injuries were assessed as non life-threatening and he continues to recover.

All of the victims have described the suspect as being a black male, 6ft tall, of skinny build, who was wearing a face mask and hood.

Police have not received any further reports since the last incident and at this time there have been no arrests.

Detectives are urging anyone who thinks they might be able to identify the man in the E-FIT to make contact immediately.

Detective Constable Amy Burnell said: “I would like local people to look closely at the E-FIT we have issued and think about whether you recognise him.

“Information as to his identity can be provided to 101. Please work with us to help catch this man and remove him from the streets.”

  • Lets be honest, the chances of this scumbag being caught is low, the authorities are under pressure not to approach, search or even speak to anyone that looks like the person in the e-fit. Sadiq Khan doesn’t care about these attacks he only targets motorist, so these attacks will continue to raise at alarming rate all over London. The money used to put in ultra ultra Ultra low used cycle lanes and major traffic causing LTN’s could have gone to extra Policing but no because public safety is of no importance in the Mayor or Local councils thinking
