Double stabbing leaves man in life threatening condition

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a double stabbing late last night.

The Met was called at around 11.40pm to a stabbing at the junction of New Malden High Street and Blagdon Road.

Two men were found with stab wounds and taken to hospital. 

The condition of one of the men, aged 31, has been assessed as life-threatening, according to the Met. His family have been informed.

The condition of the second man, aged 28 years, has been assessed as not life-threatening. So far there have been no arrests.
