Harris boys celebrating after fine A-level results for East Dulwich school

Students and staff at Harris Boys’ Academy in East Dulwich are celebrating after receiving their A-level results.

A special mention goes to Jaabir, who achieved AAB and is off to read economics at Queen Mary, University of London.

The academy, in Peckham Rye, also had a strong set of vocational results, with 91 per cent of all students taking a technical qualification at the academy gaining a distinction or distinction*.

It has also been a particularly successful year for the academy’s sports department, with two students – Ben and Jamie – securing the grades they needed to study sport and exercise science at the University of Surrey.

Peter Groves, head of academy at Harris Boys’ Academy, said: “We are extremely proud of all our students today.

“It is hugely rewarding to see them receive the outcomes they need.

“They have all been a pleasure to teach and we look forward to keeping in touch with them as they take their next steps.”
