Keisha Christodoulou killing: Tributes pour in for mother-of-three who was “lovely, kind soul”

A fundraiser has been set up for the children of Keisha Christodoulou, a mother-of-three who was stabbed to death in her home.

Keisha was found with multiple stab wounds in Tanners Hill, Deptford on November 2.

Her ex-partner Leon Murray, 33, also of Tanners Hill, was arrested and charged with her murder on November 3.

He has been remanded in custody and will next appear on January 20 at the Old Bailey.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Keisha’s family and three children who now have no parents to care for them.

The page has seen hundreds of pounds donated so far, with tributes to Keisha as well.

Amy Catherine, of Pier Road, Erith, set up the fundraiser, and said: “Keisha Christodoulou was a beautiful mother to three children. Such a lovely kind soul that was sadly taken.

“The family are absolutely devastated and heartbroken. Keisha wouldn’t hurt a fly, she was such a gentle soul. Her eldest two children are autistic, youngest is almost two years old and don’t completely understand.

“So we, the friends of Keisha, have decided with the family’s permission to set up this GoFundMe to help raise some funds to give Keisha’s children the best life possible.

“All money raised will go towards whatever her children want or need; days out, holidays and put aside some money for when they are older.

“All donations will be transferred to their auntie, Chanel, who will then make sure the funds are given to their nan, Soulla, who is now caring for them.”

So far the page has raised £1,175.

People who knew Keisha have also taken the opportunity to share tributes and condolences.

Susan Powers said: “I am so very sorry for what has happened and send my deepest condolences and love to all her family.

“I was lucky to know Keisha and help support her lovely daughter the first year of her school life.

“Keisha was always kind and loved her kids. I’m so glad the children have loving family around them.”

Clementsia Pacquette said: “Keisha is going to be deeply missed. Her children need this support for important milestones in their lives.”

Nicola Claridge said: “These poor children deserve the best possible chance in life.

“The youngest will never know who mum was, and this breaks my heart. My heart is breaking over what’s happened and it’s just devastating.”
