Lucas Sutton killing: Second teenager charged with murder

A second teenager has been charged with the murder of Lucas Sutton who was stabbed to death last week.

Keahn Williams, 19, of Waddon in Croydon was charged with the murder of the 22-year-old and was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon. He was arrested in the West Midlands on Saturday.

Williams appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was remanded in custody.

Lucas died after being stabbed in Pawsons Road, Croydon, at around 7.45pm last Tuesday.

Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

At the scene Lucas was found with stab injuries. He was taken to hospital, where was pronounced dead a short time later.

His family continues to be supported by specially trained officers.

A 16-year-old male appeared in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Friday also charged with the murder.

Both males will next appear at the Old Bailey today.
