Man attacked by eight men and robbed of car keys outside flats in Greenwich

A man has been treated in hospital after being attacked outside a block of flats in Greenwich.

Police were called to Ordnance Road, SE18, just before 2.00am on Sunday, January 21 to reports a man had been attacked by eight men and robbed of his car keys.

The assault is believed to have happened in the communal area of Wordsworth House, near Woolwich Common.

The victim was cut on his hands and face, which required hospital treatment.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who saw the attack to get in touch with them.

Detective Constable Ewa Bugajska-Davies, investigating, said: “This was a violent unprovoked attack and we need the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

“We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident take place that night.”
