Man charged in 2019 Ramane Wiggan murder case

A man has been charged with the murder of Ramane Wiggan, who was shot in the back and killed more than four and a half years ago.

Hudhaifah Cranston, 27, of Bevan Court, Croydon, is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today charged with Mr Wiggan’s murder.

Mr Wiggan was fatally shot at a block of flats in Friar Mews, West Norwood, on March 27, 2019, after he travelled to the area to collect a drugs debt of ÂŁ10,000.

Kaine Gilead, 26, of Grove Road, Surbiton, was convicted of his murder at the Old Bailey in August this year. He was jailed for a minimum of 34 years.

Cranston was arrested on Monday, 13 November and charged with murder.
