A man has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged gun incident.

Marcus Adepoju 30, from Enfield, north London, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a gun with intent to cause fear of violence.

He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The charge relates to an incident on Nelgarde Road, Catford, on April 20.

Police were called to reports of a gun shot and found a man with minor injuries.

The Met have said the man’s injuries are believed to have been caused by broken glass.

It is alleged that Mr Adepoju was found with a self-loading pistol.

The case has now been passed to Woolwich Crown Court, where Mr Adepoju will appear on August 1.
