Man charged with attempted murder following Oxford Street assault

Police investigating a serious assault on a bus passenger have charged a man with attempted murder.
Oscar Castano-Colque, 20, of Woodfarrs Road in Camberwell, was charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon on March 3.
The assault took place at around 10.15pm on February 28 on board the route 94 bus in Oxford Street.
The victim, a 25-year-old man, received a serious head injury and remains in hospital in critical condition.
Oscar Castano-Colque appeared in custody at Croydon Magistrates Court on March 4 and has been remanded.
He will be next appearing at the Old Bailey on March 31.
