Man in critical condition after shooting in West Norwood

A man has been critically injured after a shooting in West Norwood on Sunday night.

The man is in his 20s and was found by emergency services at the junction of Knights Hill and Beulah Hill near West Norwood High Street.

He is believed to have been shot at the Crown Point newsagent on Knights Hill.

A Metropolitan police statement said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 9.45pm on November 17 to Beulah Hill, near the junction with Knight’s Hill, following reports of a shooting.

“Officers attended and found a man aged in his 20s suffering from a gunshot injury.

“He was taken to a south London hospital, where his condition is thought to be critical but stable.

“Anyone with information or video/ images that could assist police are asked to call 101 ref CAD 7330/17 November.
