Man stabbed to death in West London street as killer on the loose

A man has been stabbed to death and the killer remains at large as no arrests have been made.

The Met said a police car was flagged down by a member of the public in Kensal Road, North Kensington, at around 6.40pm last night after a man in his 30s was found with stab injuries.

A spokesman for the Met said: “Officers carried out immediate first aid and they were then assisted by paramedics from London Ambulance Service who were called to the scene.

“Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man died a short time later. Enquiries are ongoing to identify the man and notify his next of kin.

“A crime scene has been put in place. There have been no arrests.

“Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have been informed. Enquiries are ongoing.”
