Man taken to hospital after building collapse
A man has been taken to hospital after he was trapped under debris that had fallen from a building.
Firefighters responded to a partial building collapse involving a terraced building in Chelsea Embankment at around 3.30pm today.
Part of the external brickwork and an attached single storey scaffolding tower were involved in the collapse.
Road closures remain in place as crews work to make the building safe.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: “The Brigade was first called about the incident at 3.26pm, with crews from Lambeth, Paddington, Fulham and surrounding fire stations attending the scene.”
