Murder investigation launched after woman in her 30s found dead at Plumstead home on Valentine’s Day

A woman believed to be in her early 30s has died after being found with injuries at her home.

Police were called at about 8.30pm on Monday, February 14 to a home in a quiet Plumstead cul-de-sac, Congleton Grove.

The body of a woman was found inside the address with injuries.

A murder investigation has been launched.

Officers believe they know the identity of the woman and urgent efforts are under way to inform her family.

Homicide detectives from Specialist Crime are investigating and a post-mortem examination will take place soon.

There have been no arrests so far and detectives are working to establish what happened.
