Police appeal for witnesses after a woman is sexually assaulted on bus from Victoria to Battersea, Streatham, Mitcham and Croydon

A woman has been sexually assaulted as she sat on a bus headed towards Croydon.

The incident happened at around 10.15am on Tuesday, August 31, on the top deck of a route 468 bus, which also goes through Victoria, Battersea, Streatham and Mitcham

An image has been released by police today of a man they would like to identify and are appealing for witnesses who may have seen what happened.

Anyone who recognises this man or who has information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference CAD 2572/31AUG21.
