Police looking for man after woman assaulted in supermarket

Police are investigating an assault in Eltham and have issued an image of a man they want to trace.

The victim, a woman in her 30s, was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in a supermarket in Philipot Path at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, March 15.

She was not seriously injured.

Nobody has been arrested. As part of ongoing enquiries, officers are releasing an image of a man they want the public’s help in identifying.

Anyone who recognises the man in this picture or who has information which could assist police is asked to contact 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD3180/15Mar.
