Primary School raised the bar with outstanding Ofsted in all areas

By Diana Morais

A primary school has been rated outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.

Streatham Wells Primary, a one-form entry school in Palace Road, Streatham Wells, moved up from its previous “good” grading,  to outstanding last week.

Between 2022 and 2023 only four per cent of schools managed to make this transition.

The school’s curriculum focuses on teaching children to be critical thinkers and is also focused on nature.

Sarah Wordlaw, headteacher of Streatham Wells Primary School, said: “Pupils say it is an amazing school. Parents and carers are equally complimentary.

“All pupils, including those with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), achieve excellent outcomes at this school”.
