Residents asked to share inspirational stories about women ahead of International Women’s Day

Bexley council is calling on residents to share stories about women and businesses who have made “exceptional” contributions towards gender equality.

The nominees will be recognised at a special International Women’s Day Awards Ceremony that will be held on March 8 at the civic offices in Bexleyheath.

Nominations for the awards are open until February 28. Nominees can be anyone who lives, works or studies in Bexley, aged 16 and over.
