Samuel L Jackson congratulates primary school for outstanding ofsted rating

Famous faces from the sport and entertainment industries come together in a video to celebrate with pupils and staff after a primary school was rated ‘outstanding’.

Harris Primary Academy Shortlands in Kingswood Road, Bromley, was rated ‘outstanding’ following an Ofsted inspection in March.

The video included a message from Samuel L. Jackson who offered his support after a school parent reached out  after the judgment.

Comedian Tom Allen, GoCompare singer Wynne Evans, rugby players Jonathan Joseph and Andy Powell and Premier League footballer Ethan Pinnock were also among those who featured in the celebration.

The video, put together by the Academy’s Principal Mr Jordan Hollis, sees celebrities ask “am I famous enough?” to celebrate the school’s achievement.

Mr Hollis said: “We are so pleased with this Ofsted report and are so grateful to all the celebrities who kindly offered to help us celebrate this brilliant result in such a special way for our pupils and our wider community.

“You are all certainly famous enough!”
