‘Super heroes’ mural adds splash of colour to Tower Bridge development
Children have brightened up a space near Tower Bridge with imaginative drawings of themselves as ‘future heroes’.
The colourful project is a collaboration between Free to be Kids, a charity that helps vulnerable children into therapeutic activities, Global Street Art and real estate investment firm Fore Partnership.
Southwark youngsters were asked to draw themselves as ‘future heroes,’ whose mission is to make sure that their community is happy and living in a healthy environment.
These drawings have now been transformed into a new mural on the hoarding panels around office development TBC.London.
It is seen as a creative exercise of adventure, freedom, imagination and possibility for local children from vulnerable backgrounds.
Free To Be Kids is a local charity aiming to make lasting change for children’s emotional health.
Its volunteers work with disadvantaged children across London to rebuild self-esteem and boost resilience by focusing on nature and the arts.
