Teenage girl falls from eighth-floor balcony and dies in Lewisham
A 16-year-old girl has died after falling from an eighth-floor balcony in Lewisham, police have said.
Officers were called to Thurston Road, shortly after 2pm on Easter Sunday following reports that a person had fallen from a height.
An air ambulance, firefighters and paramedics were all on the scene in minutes – the chopper landed in a nearby Sports Direct car park.

But the girl was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is being treated by police as non-suspicious.
