TfL introduces safety measures to A2 Blackheath Hill
Transport for London (TfL) will begin works to install new pedestrian crossings at Blackheath Hill later this year.
Blackheath Hill currently has no pedestrian crossings at its main junction.
The works will introduce a pedestrian crossing across the A2 and the slip road between Greenwich South Street and Blackheath Hill.
Traffic will be banned from turning right from Lewisham Road into the A2 Blackheath Hill until the crossings have been installed.
A TfL spokesman said works will have “no significant impact” on the local bus network.
