Three men arrested after body of a 44-year-old is found in Lambeth

Three men have been arrested after the body of a man in his 40s was found in Lambeth.

The victim is yet to be formally identified but the 44-year-old is said to have died as a result of ‘multiple injuries’.

Cops were called by the London Ambulance Service just before 7am last Monday (July 12) to New Park Road where the body of a man was found.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

A special post-mortem examination held at Greenwich Mortuary and an investigation was been launched.

A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday and has since been released with no further action.

A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday and a 34-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday.

They were both taken into custody at a South London police station and have both since been bailed to return to a date in mid-August.
