Thumprints cast at Horatio’s Garden London & South East to form artwork at world leading RHS Chelsea Flower Show

A charity that creates gardens in NHS spinal injury centres to aid patient rehabilitation has created an artwork for the Chelsea Flower Show.

The designers and collaborators involved in bringing a show garden for Horatio’s Garden to life have cast their thumbprint, along with beneficiaries, NHS staff and patients at Horatio’s Garden.

These prints will be displayed as part of an artwork for the charity’s show garden at Chelsea Flower Show.

The thumbprints will be displayed as an artwork in a woodland room, designed by Charlotte Harris and Hugo Bugg from Harris Bugg Studio in collaboration with architects from Mcmullan Studio.

Imprints were cast by Dr Olivia Chapple, Founder and Chair of Trustees of Horatio’s Garden, Hugo Bugg from Harris Bugg Studio, Andrew Mcmullan from Mcmullan Studio, Andrew Ewing from Studio Ewing and Hattie Ghaui, CEO of Project Giving Back.

Dr Olivia Chapple, Founder and Chair of Trustees of the charity said: “This is a wonderful initiative by designers Harris Bugg Studio in collaboration with architect Andrew Mcmullan that will tell the powerful story of the many hands involved in caring for beneficiaries of Horatio’s Garden.”
