Two injured in block of flats blaze
A fire in a block of flats has left two people needing medical assistance.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled the fire in Thornham Street in Greenwich.
The fire took place fire in a residential block. Two people have been treated by the London Ambulance Service for smoke inhalation.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was first called at around 2.10pm and has received more than 20 calls reporting the fire.
Crews from Greenwich, East Greenwich, Lewisham and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
LFB said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
