Two patients at King’s College Hospital in Camberwell test positive for Coronavirus

Two patients have been isolated at a hospital after being diagnosed with coronavirus.

The pair being treated at King’s College Hospital were among the latest infections in South London – the first walked into Lewisham Hospital on February 13 and Wimbledon College closed on Monday after a teacher tested positive following a trip to Italy.

A statement from the hospital in Camberwell said: “The trust has had two recent patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

“We have strict protocols in place to manage the control of infection and to reduce the possibility of cross-infection, and this includes restricting access for staff and visitors to the ward.”

It added that Public Health England was carrying out contact tracing and would be in touch with anyone who may have been exposed to the virus.

  • Sydenham School in Dartmouth road has many teachers who have Been to an Italy trip and are always coughing in lessons and sometimes even not in due to their fever yet the headteacher refuses to close the school and puts students at risk she even wrote a letter to parents saying that if you do not show any symptoms come to school like normal which is absolutely wrong as symptoms can show up after 14 days yet the letter was sent a few days after the trip

They don’t care about kids… as far as the government is concerned kids are immune or the virus has little effect on them.
Well I am protecting MY children who suffer from Asthma, and go to a Southwark school. On Public Health England it states there is a confirmed case in Southwark and 6 in Kensington and Chelsea, conflicting as we know of 2 confirmed cases in Lambeth (Kings college hospital) but yet has only published it as 1 case?? I don’t trust this government, remember when they told us the NHS is well equipped to deal with an outbreak? and now they are saying resources are going to be stretched in an outbreak?.. PROTECT YOURSELVES AND YOUR CHILDREN AS YOU SEE FIT!!

    Dear Member,

It has been confirmed that a member has tested positive for Coronavirus.

This member has not been to the club since testing positive, however has been within close proximity of some members who have attended the club last week.
