Two women sexually assaulted at a bus stop in Vauxhall
Two women have been sexually assaulted by the same man while waiting for a bus in Lambeth.
The women, one who was 18 and one who was 19, were both touched sexually around 3pm on Monday, September 20.
In the first incident, the suspect touched the 18-year-old women as she stood at bus stop J in Vauxhall station before he walked away.
In the second offence, the suspect assaulted a 19-year-old female.
She challenged his behaviour and when the bus arrived the victim boarded it.
The man did not board the bus but could be heard shouting abuse at the victim.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The man is described as a white male with an Eastern European accent, of medium build with short curly fair hair.
He wore a grey hoody with the hood up, dark grey trousers and white slider-type sandals with no socks.
Detective Chief Inspector Michael Dougall said: “No one should have to put up with unwanted attention or predatory, sexual or violent behaviour.
“We have released this image in the hope that someone will recognise this person and help police identify him. I would urge anyone who can help to get in contact.”
