Witness appeal issued following tragic death of young man after car crashes into tree
A man in his 20s has died after a car crashed into a tree.
The incident happened in South Eden Park Road, Beckenham, near the junction with St David’s Close just before 12.45am on Sunday morning.
Police, London Ambulance Service (LAS) crews and London Fire Brigade were called to the scene.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after first responders arrived.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries into the circumstances continue.

A spokesman for the LAS said: “We sent a number of resources to the scene an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer.
“We also dispatched a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance which consisted of a paramedic and a doctor in a car. The first paramedic arrived in less than seven minutes.
“Sadly despite the efforts of our crews – and our colleagues from the Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade – the patient died at the scene.”
