Woman attacked in ‘terrifying’ sexual assault close to where Sarah Everard was abducted
Police have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted near Clapham Common.
The woman was walk home along Englewood Road on Saturday, September 25 at 2am when she noticed a man walking behind her.
As she stopped to look for something in her bag, the man approached her from behind.

The assault happened less than half a mile from where 33-year-old marketing executive Sarah Everard was abducted in March this year.
Detective Constable Annie Henry of the Central South Command Unit said: “We are releasing this e-fit in the hope that someone recognises the person pictured.
“This attack would have been terrifying for the woman and we are continuing to support her as our investigation continues.
“If you can assist our investigation, please don’t hesitate to contact police – this man needs to be identified and held to account for his actions.”
