Woman killed after motorbike collision named for the first time

A woman who was killed earlier this month after being hit by a motorbike, has been named by police as Seidi Abdulkhadir.

Police were called at around 5.30pm on November 9, to reports of a motorbike colliding with a pedestrian in Kings Avenue, near to the junction with Atkins Road in Clapham.

Met officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene. Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, Ms Abdulkhadir, who lived in Lambeth, died at the scene.

The rider of the motorbike stopped at the scene and there have been no arrests.

Police have confirmed that her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.

Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and want to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

A spokeswoman from the Met said: “Anyone who witnessed the collision or captured it on dash cam is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8285 1574 or via 101 quoting reference CAD 5449/09NOV.”
