Battle of the Millwall loan keepers ends in defeat for debutant Ryan Sandford

Ryan Sandford’s Weymouth debut ended in defeat as the Millwall stopper’s loan started with a 2-1 defeat at Bath City.

The 23-year-old keeper  joined the National League South side earlier this week.

Sandford had previously kept two clean sheets in five appearances for Dover Athletic in August before heading back to his parent club.

Joe Wright, also on the Lions’ books was in goal for Bath in midweek. The 21-year-old joined them before the start of the campaign.

Millwall’s U21 defender Kamarl Grant is also on the move, a one-month stay with Dagenham & Redbridge. He was booked on his debut, a 4-1 defeat at Wrexham in the National League.

    Where is the mention of Sandford’s quadruple save? A little lost with the direction of this coverage?
