Big break for Lewisham boxer Dan Azeez as he signs long-term promotional contract

Lewisham boxer Dan Azeez has signed a long-term contract with BOXXER and will defend his British light-heavyweight title on March 26.

The 32-year-old (15-0, 10 KOs) has been on plenty of small-hall shows – making his route into the sport more challenging. He won the domestic strap with an impressive seventh-round stoppage of Hosea Burton in November.

Azeez’s fights will be televised on Sky Sports as the station have a promotional deal with BOXXER.
“I’ve earned my place to showcase my skills,” said the South Londoner.
