Bromley secure play-off spot after Barnet draw

Bromley have secured their spot in the National League play-offs after Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw at Barnet.

Idris Kanu opened the scoring for Barnet in the 54th minute, with Louis Dennis scoring 15 minutes from normal time to secure a point for Andy Woodman’s side.

The Ravens are third in the National League and 10 points clear of Aldershot in eighth.

This is the third season under Woodman since he took charge that Bromley will be completing the shootout for a place in the Football League.

Bromley are five points behind second-placed Barnet – but they do have a game in hand over the Bees.

Solihull Moors, Altrincham, Gateshead and Halifax Town currently occupy the other play-off spots alongside Bromley and Barnet.

A top-three finish would see the Ravens secure a spot in the play-off semi-final stage – one game away from Wembley.

Woodman’s side reached the semi-final last season – losing 3-2 at Chesterfield.
