Charlton admirers of Motherwell striker Bair but Championship clubs also in the mix

Charlton Athletic are admirers of Theo Bair but the South London Press understands that the odds are stacked again them signing the Motherwell striker.

The Addicks have watched the Canadian-born attacker, who has scored 15 goals and claimed six assists in the Scottish Premiership this season.

But our paper was told earlier this month that it was “highly unlikely” that Bair would be making the switch to SE7 with a number of clubs in higher leagues also tracking the 24-year-old.

Scottish media today have linked Championship duo Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers with Bair, claiming he could cost in the region of £1million.

Bair has been capped twice by his country.

Charlton manager Nathan Jones is determined to strengthen down the spine of his side with quality additions targeted both defensively – including a new goalkeeper – and also offensively.
